Privacy
The Patent Garden is a static reference site. Every page is built ahead of time and served as a file. There are no accounts, no logins and no forms.
What is collected
Nothing you type, because there is nothing to type into. The site sets no cookies at all and sends nothing about you anywhere.
One exception, and it never leaves your device: if you press Larger text in the header, your choice is remembered in your own browser’s local storage so the next page you open is already set the way you like it. It is a single on/off value, it is not an identifier, and nothing reads it but your own browser. Clearing your browsing data removes it.
The host serving these pages keeps ordinary web-server logs — IP address, page requested, time, browser user agent — the same records any web server keeps in order to work at all. They are not linked to a person here and are not used to build a profile.
Third parties
Typefaces are self-hosted with the pages, so loading a page does not call out to a font service. If advertising is ever added, this page will say so, will name the provider, and will say what it sets, before it goes live.
The data on the site
The patent records shown here are United States public record, published by the USPTO. Inventor and assignee names appear because they are printed on the granted patent itself.
