Abstract
‘FAES1319’ is a new and distinct zoysiagrass (Zoysia japonica Steud.) variety distinguished at least by its medium leaf texture, high turfgrass quality, good shade tolerance, good winter color retention, good spring green up, and low incidence of large patch disease caused by Rhizoctonia solani anastomosis group 2-2 LP. It has exhibited broad adaptation to contrasting environments from the Southern U.S. and north into the Transition Zone.
