Abstract

A new and unique x Mangave plant named ‘Painted Desert’ characterized by compact habit and lanceolate foliage with chartreuse green color with darker margins in lower ultraviolet light exposure and in high ultraviolet light exposure developing reddish mottling with glaucous covering speckling and blushing concentrated in the basal portions.
