A new and distinct cultivar of Verbena plant named ‘Jelverpurp’, characterized by its relatively compact, upright to broadly outwardly spreading plant habit; moderately vigorous to vigorous growth habit and moderate to rapid growth rate; freely branching habit; early and freely flowering habit; intense purple-colored flowers that are highly fragrant; and good garden performance and winter-hardiness.
