Abstract
A new and distinct Ternstroemia gymnanthera plant found as an openly pollinated seedling. The new variety consistently produces a very high concentration of anthocyanin in new growth as well as a more uniform, upright growth habit and mature foliage color compared with other commercial varieties in the market class.
