A new and distinct cultivar of Saxifraga plant named ‘SH 1937’, characterized by its broadly upright and mounded plant habit; moderately vigorous to vigorous growth habit and moderate growth rate; upper leaf surfaces that are dark green in color with dark purple-colored lobes; freely flowering habit; and purplish red-colored flowers that are held above the foliar plane.
