Abstract
A hybrid tea rose variety having tall, upright growth habit, buds whose opening is not impaired by cool weather in the spring season, red colored petals with defined yellow area at point of attachment, light fragrance and good resistance to rose powdery mildew.

I claim: 1. A new and distinct variety of rose plant of the hybrid tea class, substantially as herein shown and described, characterized particularly as to novelty by the unique combination of its tall, upright plant, uniform red, lightly fragrant blooms, and mildew resistant foliage.
