A new and distinct cultivar of Phalaenopsis plant named ‘PHA568949’, characterized by its compact and upright plant habit; moderately vigorous to vigorous growth habit and moderate growth rate; strong flowering stems; strong leaves; freely flowering habit with typically five inflorescences developing per plant, each inflorescence with numerous flowers; white-colored flowers with greenish yellow-colored labellum; and good postproduction longevity.
