A new and distinct variety of Phalaenopsis plant named ‘PHA578420’, particularly characterized by having numerous attractive, small, orange striped and netted flowers with reddish-purple lips, gentle scent, ligulate lateral lobes, and is propagated by meristem tissue culture, is disclosed.
