Abstract

Miscanthus plant ‘MSU MFL 1 ’ is a new and distinct variety of giant Miscanthus , characterized by vigorous growth and its usefulness as an effective biomass grass that yields, on average, two to three times more tons per acre than switchgrass, the predominant biomass grass.
