A new cultivar of Miscanthus, Miscanthus sinensis ‘EMPMIS01’, that is characterized by its flower plumes that are dark red in color, its compact plant habit and short plant height, its long flowering period, and its floriferous blooming habit in producing numerous flowering stems.
