A new and distinct cultivar of Lilac plant named ‘SMSXPM’, characterized by its compact, upright to outwardly spreading and low mounding plant habit; vigorous growth habit; freely branching habit; freely flowering habit; dark pink-colored flower buds; large inflorescences with strongly fragrant intense light pink-colored flowers; long flowering period and remontant flowering habit; and good cold hardiness.
