Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of Lagerstroemia plant named ‘PIILAG-VIII’, characterized by its compact, upright, intermediate growth habit, dark burgundy foliage that is planar, numerous large pink inflorescenes, resistance to powdery mildew and Cercospora leaf spot, and increase cold hardiness.
