Abstract
A new and distinct Ilex verticillata plant named ‘B-1-17’ which is characterized by vigorous growth, an abundance of strong upright main stems, very short lateral branches with each bearing an abundance of large vibrant red berries borne along their entire length. The claimed plant propagates successfully by softwood stem cuttings and has proven to be uniform and stable in the resulting generations.
