A new cultivar of Hydrangea plant named ‘RIE 04’ that is characterized by broad upright habit, large medium-green leaves, flowers that are yellow-green to dark pink in color, and unique inflorescence development. In combination these traits set ‘RIE 04’ apart from all other existing varieties of Hydrangea known to the inventor.
