A new cultivar of Hydrangea macrophylla plant named ‘Hokomabavi’ that is characterized by its sterile flowers with strongly undulate sepals, its sterile flowers with strongly undulate sepals, its compact plant habit, its inflorescences sterile flower sepals that are dark pink in color, and its suitability for growing in containers.
