Abstract

A new and distinct Hippeastrum interspecific hybrid plant named ‘RUBY STAR’ particularly characterized by star-shaped flower, measuring 18 cm to 20 cm in length and 14 to 17 cm in diameter, and with a unique color pattern of primarily dark red (RHS 53 B) with yellow-greenish (RHS 145 B) stripes and greyed-purple (RHS 183 B) veining.
