Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-MDL’, characterized by glossy, dark green leaves, upright growth, and a very large flower characterized by a small dark red eye which extends approximately 20 percent of petal length, the eye diffusely margined with a mauve zone which changes by degree into a strong pinkish purple zone which abruptly changes to a strong rose pink zone at petal edge.
