Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-DXL’, characterized by glossy, dark green leaves, sturdy, very upright growth, and large flowers having a bright red eye zone extending slightly into the petal body, surrounded by a thin zone of pale lavender which radiates via the petal veins into a large zone of copper lilac having lilac petal veins. The copper lilac region shades abruptly to a coral-orange petal margin.
