A new and distinct cultivar of hibiscus plant named ‘DUP-BLKD’, characterized by glossy, dark green leaves, upright habit appropriate for container production and culture, freely flowering habit, and a glossy, blackish red center shades into a brown-scarlet by midpetal, shading to brown orange at the petal margin.
