Abstract

A new and distinct cultivar of Helleborus plant named ‘Borusmura40’, characterized by its relatively compact, upright to outwardly spreading and mounding plant habit; moderately vigorous growth habit; deeply serrated leaflets that have silvery green-colored upper surfaces that are densely and lower surfaces that are dark purple in color; freely flowering habit; purplish red-colored flowers; and good garden performance.
