Abstract
There is disclosed a new and distinct variety of Grey Dogwood botanically known as Cornus racemosa. The new variety possesses attractive variegated leaves wherein the central portion is medium green and the margin is yellow fading to cream as the leaf matures.

I claim: 1. A new and distinct variety of Grey Dogwood plant substantially as herein shown and described, being a sport of `Heaven Sent` and characterized particularly as to novelty by the unique combination of vigorous, disease free growth under good growing conditions, with distinctive variegated foliage having a dark green center, medium green intermediate blotches and yellow to cream margins when mature; the variegated leaves revealing a more vivid autumn coloration than the species; and, the exceptional winter hardiness of this plant extends the ornamental plant selection into areas previously denied.
