A new and distinct cultivar of Dahlia plant named ‘Dodahypnopreve’, characterized by its upright and uniformly mounding plant habit; moderately vigorous growth habit; moderate growth rate; freely branching habit; dense and bushy appearance; dark green-colored leaves; freely flowering habit; large double-type inflorescences with dark red-colored ray florets; good postproduction longevity; and good garden performance.
