A new cultivar of hybrid Clematis , ‘Zo09045’ that is characterized by its mostly upright facing flowers with upright facing tepals, its abundance of flowers, its purple flowers that retain their color with very little fading, its sterility, and its cold hardiness to at least U.S.D.A. Zone 5.
