Abstract
A new cultivar of hybrid Clematis, ‘Zo08171’, that is characterized by its free flowering habit as a nursery plant, its terminal and axillary flowers on young shoots, and its tulip-shaped flowers with a flower coloration that is unique for this shape of flower; tepals are violet with purple centers on the inner surface and dark red-purple with a violet margin on the outer surface.
