Abstract

The new hybrid plant of Clematis ‘Violet Stardust’ with ovate to oddly compound foliage having a greyed-purplish blush when young, violet-blue, lanceolate, recurved tepals on upright to outwardly facing flowers beginning late spring and reblooming into late summer on non-vining stems that can be either used as a ground cover, staked or allowed the support of other nearby plants.
