A new and distinct cultivar of Chrysanthemum plant named ‘Pomona Purple’, characterized by its uniform, upright, outwardly spreading and rounded plant habit; moderately vigorous to vigorous growth habit; freely branching habit; dense and full plant habit; uniform and freely flowering habit; large decorative-type inflorescences with dark purple violet-colored ray florets; and excellent garden performance.
