Abstract

‘BB14-112PT-2’, is another genotype selected in a tropical environment of Peru. ‘BB14-112PT-2’ does not require chill-hours for either budbreak or fruit production. The fruit of ‘BB14-112PT-2’ is large to extra-large size berry, with medium blue color, good fruit firmness texture. Leaves are large and shoots has short internodes. The eating quality of ‘BB14-112PT-2’ is very good and superior to many of the varieties currently grown in Peru, with a sugar/acid balance of 12 to 15. Time of fruit production in ‘BB14-112PT-2’ can be regulated by the pruning date and environment conditions.
