A new and distinct cultivar of Arctotis plant named ‘ARC406’, characterized by its compact, upright and mounded plant habit; freely branching growth habit; relatively small leaves; single-type inflorescences with golden yellow-colored ray florets and disc florets that are nearly black in color; and good garden performance.
