A new apple tree ( Malus domestica Borkh.) named ‘NC1’ is described. ‘NC1’ is the result of a cross between ‘Cox's Orange Pippin’ and ‘Golden Delicious.’ The fruit of ‘NC1’ is notable for its late maturity, attractive appearance and long shelf life as compared to its parents.
