Abstract
‘ARAANTRED1’ is a new and distinctive variety of Anthurium which is characterized by the combination of a vibrant red, glossy spathe with a nearly horizontal aspect and a relatively short spadix which is colored white with a yellow apex, an abundance of narrowly cordate foliage which is dark green and glossy, inflorescences held above the foliage, and the stability of all characteristics from generation to generation. The new variety is typically produced as an indoor ornamental plant.
